Advisory Board

The Director of the Research Laboratories of Archaeology regularly consults with an Advisory Board consisting of nine UNC-CH faculty and staff. This board is constituted according to a set of guidelines approved by the Dean of Arts and Sciences. The current members of the RLA Advisory Board are listed below, along with the dates when their current terms expire:

    • Todd Boyette, Director of Morehead Planetarium (through June 30, 2021)
    • Drew Coleman, Professor of Geological Sciences (through June 30, 2024)
    • Kathleen DuVal, Professor of History (through June 30, 2025)
    • Jen Gates-Foster, Associate Professor of Classics (through June 30, 2026)
    • Donald Haggis, Chair of Classics (ex officio)
    • Danielle Hiraldo, Director of the American Indian Center (ex officio)
    • Amanda Thompson, Chair of Anthropology (ex officio)
    • Keith Richotte, Associate Professor of American Studies (through June 30, 2025)
